I am writing regarding our recent MRI Unit installation at the Hospital for Small Animal, Edinburgh University The project was successfully completed in May 2018 by Vertu Medical. Vertu Medical had won the business through an EU Open Tender process which closed in January 2017.
“Vertu Medical partnered with us at the Nuclear Medicine department at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust for the removal of a complex gamma camera, the Phillips Precedence. The team was very approachable and very professional. We initially had a set date for the removal but we had to postpone and the team was extremely flexible in accommodating our requirements. The planning phase went very well. On the days of the removal, the professionalism already witnessed was maintained and the team worked tirelessly to comply to a tight schedule, working late and over the weekend. The department maintained clinical activity and wasn’t affected at all by the removal works. The camera was disassembled and removed with efficiency and no damage to the equipment or the room.
